study learn
二者都作“學(xué)、學(xué)習(xí)”講,有時(shí)可以互換。如:
When did you begin to study/learn English?
你是什么時(shí)候開始學(xué)習(xí)英語的?
study側(cè)重學(xué)習(xí)的過程;而learn側(cè)重學(xué)習(xí)的結(jié)果,常譯作“學(xué)到、學(xué)會(huì)”。 如:
He studied hard and at last learned the language.
他努力學(xué)習(xí),終于學(xué)會(huì)了這門語言。
study用于較高深或周密的研究;而learn多用于初級(jí)階段的學(xué)習(xí)或帶有模仿性的操作技藝等。如:
He is studying the math problem.
他正在研究這個(gè)數(shù)學(xué)問題。
He learns English on the radio.
他通過廣播學(xué)英語。
The baby is learning to speak.
這個(gè)嬰兒正在學(xué)說話。
